I just booked it because I needed somewhere when I arrived in Turkey from England in the middle of the night. I might as well have slept in the street. Nothing was prepared for me when I arrived. Second night I slept on the roof because it was preferable to the room (mattress on the floor and nothing else) I had the first night. I had a much, much better time when I came back to Bodrum at the end of my trip and stayed at Hostel Kalendar - which was fantastic.
