The location is great, very near the central station and is right near the centre of the red light district. So a lot of things you can do there, and it's quite wild :) It's also very cheap compared to other hostels, and it's worth it. Highly recommended for any one who likes to experience a little bit adventurous stay. But it might not be very suitable for someone who prefers quiet and private space, since the arrangement of the beds won't allow you to have much personal space. The bathroom is not very clean, and it's mixes. So expect to see some half-naked guys when you're brushing your teeth :D (not a prob for me though). After all, for the money, it's still a good deal.

Seeing as it's one of the "cheapest" in Amsterdam, there's not much you can do. But it's very very expensive regardless. It's in the centre of Amsterdam, near the RLD, and they provide lockers and all that for your security (bring your own lock). BUT it's in one of those old leaning houses, the floor actually slopes sideways. The street below is always noisy even at night. No kitchen, no common room. Staff weren't particularly unfriendly, but they were mostly busy with the bar.
