The rooms were clean and the beds were very comfy. I also enjoyed the shower and the bathroom, spacious and private. (I did book a private room with twon beds). It was also close to a lot of the main trams and right by the Van Gogh musuem.

Free internet is always a bonus for budget travelers! The hostel itself was in a very good location; whilst some may prefer to get the tram everywhere, this rules out the beautiful views that you get walking/cycling to and from destinations. Breakfast was also very generous compared to some other hostels.

It was in a very nice almost residential area of town, very nice atmosphere and quite calm compared to the centre of Amsterdam and the tourist madness!
