Considering I paid to share a room and ended up getting my own room, the place was a bargain, but true to Italian form, the place seemed disorganised and the staff didn't even know how much I was meant to pay. There are long term students staying here as well as backpackers, so it's hard to meet people as they already have their own groups. Not great if you're travelling alone and want to meet people, and there's no breakfast offered, but it's in a good location and fairly comfortable. | |

Despite initial communication problems with the Italian staff, we found them to be very friendly and attentive to detail. Clean, cosy and in a convenient location, the hostel is great to return to after a busy day exploring the sights of Florence. With no communal area it is a bit harder to socialise with other travellers, but we still managed to chat to the girls staying in the neighbouring room. | |
