It's quite clean, and the view is great. Believe it, don't waste your time staying in your room, get out and stroll down the slope. You can get a fantastic view of la spezia, especially at night. There might be nothing to do around the hostel, but the people are quite friendly and nice, and you can have many chances to talk with local :)

This is the place to come if you want a peaceful and quiet chill out. i had two nights there and got really good sleep which was needed in my travelling. dude on reception was really helpful. speaks english and tries to help out as much as he can which was appreciated, gave me a ride right to train station. location is in hills but figure out all the bus times when u arrive and its easy to do everything you want to do from there. not a party hostel

You can stay in a great hostel/apartment right in riomaggoire for cheaper. This hostel is way out of the way, only accessible by bus (poor schedule for that as well). Nothing to do within the hostel, very boring
