If you like Camden, London, you will like the location. A little grungy, but still very Parisian. Tons of nightclubs and bars and cafes all around. Bathrooms in each room was a definite plus, and it seemed clean. Housekeepers came in every day to bring new towels. If you are looking for a bed in a moderately secure neighborhood but nothing else, you should come here.

The hotel is situated near Bastille. It is only 2 min walk from the underground station and about 15 min walk of the Cite island.

It was in a good location, close to central train stations. However, you have to give the key back to the receptionist when you leave and it just hangs out there in the open. That didnt make us feel too safe about it. We were there during Bastille week and it felt a little dangerous at night. Overall the hostel was just ok. Great location in terms of getting around and the staff was friendly enough
