The river GudenA (God! A River) runs through Ry. Here you can sail, canoe and walk in the surrounding forests. Wild deer (roe) abound, and there are campsites and hotels available. It is not a hugely touristic area, but in the summer you will see a lot of Germans and Dutch. To get to Ry: car or bike or train from Arhus. Bus also works. Be sure to visit Himmelbjerg (Sky Mountain, approx 174m high oooh Im dizzy already!).
