Freddys Hostel - Albania, Tirana Hostel

Freddy is building an empire. He has recently purchased two floors in brand new apartments nearby his already sizeable and comfy, recently renovated base to offer a great standard of room at a very affordable price. The hostel is situated within 200 metres of Tiranas epicentre Skenderbeg square and is within 100 metres of supermarket, internet and some great back street markets and restaurants that Freddy can direct you towards.

The base price is 12 euros per room and increases by 2 or 3 euros as air conditioning and en suite are included in the rooms. The 6 dorm room listed which actually only has 5 beds also includes a kitchen.

Even with all the car horns and noise of the nearby main street, you will sleep peaceful and easy at Freddys. As for safety, it is not even an issue. Although I dont recommend it, you could leave your wallet on the street in Albania and someone would endeavour to get it back to you. Albanians are some of the nicest, most hospitable people on the planet, and hopefully will stay this way as they endeavour to join the 21st century.
