A stalwart of the Cardiff scene Cardiff Backpacker is a dream and a strong favorite with independent travellers Lonely Planet Europe and Britain 2007
All our staff take great pride in making your stay with us as enjoyable as possible. They have a wealth of knowledge about pubs, clubs and cafes in the city centre and about day trips to the many attractions nearby, or traveling further a field into the many stunning areas of Wales.
Our fully licensed late bar has everything from cocktails to the widest range of world bottled beers with discounted prices for resident guests. We are always playing the best local bands and world music or showing films / sport on our cable-linked Big Screen.
Our small shop provides everything from postcards and souvenirs, toiletries and essentials to basic foods for you to cook in our kitchen. Our pricing policy is to undercut tourist shops and match supermarket prices.
TV Lounge, Internet Stations and Roof Garden Our philosophy is to create a haven away from home, so you can borrow from our extensive DVD library and become a couch potato; shoot some pool; keep in touch on one of our internet stations; or chill out reading in a hammock while your steaks are sizzling on the BBQ.
Our fully equipped kitchen is for you to use at your leisure (with free tea and coffee all day) as is our coin-operated launderette. No membership required.
Cardiff is brimming with nightclubs, bars and restaurants to suit all tastes. It also has extensive transfer links to the rest of Wales, so is an ideal base. Cardiff is also on the live music circuit for top bands, and sporting events at the newly developed Millennium Stadium.
Please contact us directly for further information. We operate a minimum 2 night stay over a Saturday night.
