We invite you to stay at Edinburghs newest and SMALLEST hostel. Thats right a small hostel in the middle of a big city.
We are very much traveller orientated hostel. In fact so much that you wont find many HostelBookers reviews for us in the last couple of months as we have been checking out Japan, Australia, New Zealand, Brazil, Argentina and Chile, doing a wee bit of travelling ourselves.

Here some reasons to entice you to stay with us.

LOCATION! LOCATION! LOCATION!

As our name would suggest, we are located only 90m from the main bus station, St. Andrews Bus Station. We are located about 250m from Waverley train station. We are right in the middle of the city centre so you can check in to our hostel and be out sightseeing within 5 minutes of arriving in Edinburgh City Centre.

So if you do not fancy carrying your backpack too far after arriving in or leaving our beautiful city, we may be the hostel for you.

GREAT FREE BREAKFAST

We offer free tea and coffee to all our guests all of the time. Some other hostels will do that. However none of the other highest rated hostels will give you FREE BREAKFAST. This will cost you at least 2 POUNDS at any other highly rated hostel in Edinburgh and as much as 6 POUNDS in some...

Our well stocked kitchen is also available for your use 24 hours of every day.

Want to go out to the pubs and dont know where to go. Just follow us. Every night we will take you out on a pub crawl of some of the citys best pubs. We will take you to the best live music pubs, both rock and traditional music, as well as trying to take you to a few places that you would never find on your own. We always have great ideas for the best place to try your first dram of Scottish whisky.

FREE CITY TOUR

Every day at 11am, guests of our hostel are invited to join SANDEMANS FREE CITY TOUR. You will be taken through a 3 hour magical journey of our historic city centre. What better way to become acquainted with our fair city

QUIET FOR SLEEPING...

We firmly believe that when you pay for bed in a hostel, you are entitled to a good nights sleep. That is why you wont find the word NOISY in any of our HostelBooker reviews.

OUR HOSTEL IS A BEAUTIFUL HOSTEL...

As you can see from the pictures, our hostel is a beautiful hostel. We have decorated it with arte facts from all over the world. Its a real home from home and we want you to make it yours when you come to stay in Edinburgh.

NB. OUR LATEST CHECK IN TIME IS 8 PM. (but we have no curfew)

Our latest check in time will be 8pm. We are the smallest hostel in Edinburgh, closest to the bus station and the highest rated so demand for our beds is high. If you are arriving in Edinburgh after 8pm, please book with another hostel as there are lots of other great hostels here who have 24 hour check in. If you do book with us you will have access to our hostel and all of its facilities on a 24 hour basis, just not check in.

OUR HOSTEL IS NOT SUITABLE FOR STAG PARTIES, HEN PARTIES AND SPORTS GROUPS. PLEASE DONT MAKE RESERVATIONS FOR SUCH GROUPS AS THESE WILL NOT BE HONOURED.
